Cold Weather and Exercise. You won't get a cold from the cold.

Don't let the cold weather be an excuse, exercise can be done in the cold.

Take a few extra steps when exercising in the cold. Warm up slowly and thoroughly, because your muscles may be more prone to injury if they are still cold when you get into high gear. Also the airways to your lungs may be more sensitive to chilled air so try wearing a scarf or mask to warm up the air you take in.
