Staying Fit year round. The fun of summer is over,and there seems to be less time for ourselves. Our health and fitness levels pay the price.

Shorter days and cold weather are not an excuse, exercising and physical activity need to be year-round, lifelong commitments.

There are so many ways to stay active even when your surroundings are not cooperative. Join and use a gym, sign up for indoor tennis, take martial arts classes, yoga or pilates. If you want to walk, most malls accommodate "mall walkers". Remember, there are no excuses--but you may need to get a little creative.
